I can feel it when my smiles are fake

The weight of the world and the trouble it takes

I feel so ashamed for the faces I make when I'm blue

Depression's a gallows, the pain's like a noose

There's blame to be spread, but what's the use?

I can relax now the shackles are loose thanks to you

And I can remember to the nth degree

Everything that's embarrassed me

Add to that thoughts about killing me every day

Fake til I make it I just couldn't do

None of the tricks that would work on you

This feeling of relief that I'm going through starts today

Take me there with you though I'm scared of change

I'm searching for signals that aren't out of range

Is this what it's like? The feeling is strange
